2011 shows
Romeo and Juliet is the most famous
love story in the world and we are delighted to announce that it will be
partnered with The Bard’s ever popular Twelfth Night as
GB Theatre Company’s 2011 Season.
Dressed in Elizabethan costumes our cast will perform
these two great plays at our amazing venues using the incredible backdrops
to add to the atmosphere and drama. Come and see these two great love stories
and experience them in these wonderful outdoor settings. You’ll witness
shipwrecks, swordfights, hidden identities, forbidden marriage and of course,
the amazing verse poetry and prose of our ‘star-crossed lovers’.
This promises to be an exciting follow-on from our
launch last year with our humorous and thought-provoking As
You Like It and our mad-cap Merry
Wives of Windsor. Both shows received fabulous reviews.
